depends on the condition of your skin...

two different surgeries.
you can have them both at the same time. I had them both and I got very good results.
A LBL and an Anchor Cut TT can give you the flat tummy you desire. The LBL without the Anchor cut - you will be left with the "muffin top" or fat above the bellybutton if that is something you are plagued with now.
Dr S wouldn't commit to doing the Anchor Cut revision on me until he saw me in person and then he agreed that was what I needed.

BTW, if you get the Anchor Cut without the LBL you will have no improvement for your butt or your lower back. If you get the LBL without the Anchor Cut and you have problem with excess above the bellybutton skin, you will have no improvement there. Two different surgeries. They can be done together or they can be done separately.

That is why  I am having corset trunkplasty done.  It does the anchor cut, and the top, but goes around to get rid of back boobs and excess on hips.  I wanted lower body lift, insurance would not cover, but they are going to cover stomach removal, and  I am going to pay the difference out of pocket.

Here is the website:

www.corsettrunkplasty.com and also

http://www.yourbariatricsurgeryguide.com/corset-trunkplasty/

My surgeon is the one that developed it, but other surgeons do perform it now.

wow so glad i read this thread. i think this type of surgery would be perfect for me. he is about 3 hrs away from me but might be worth it to get the right results. did your surgeon mention other surgeons who are doing the procedure?

i just looked at your profile pictures, and keep in mind I'm still nowhere near my own goal weight and the only type of plastic surgery I have hd is a breast reduction.

In order to maximize results I would opt for a anchor or fleur de lis abdominoplasty, with an arm lift and maybe breast lift if that bothers you enough.

I'd be willing to bet with the pulling in of your sides you'd lose a lot of your side rolls with just the anchor abdominoplasty.

Good luck.
