Well...due to the small gangrene way back when my healing is taking longer and my scars are keloid too. In the beginning right after the op I was using Dermacombin to avoid fungus as I had had that problem before the op. Then I used an anti-fungal with antibiotic.
When I was between slough wound and gangrene and after debridement and home, I was told by my PS Dr.Josef Haik to use Silvercel and Tielle thst with a script and via pharmacy of my HMO, I paid nothing!
Now I use Scarban silicone sheets that if I buy (bought) with a script via the pharmacy affiliated with my HMO I paid 56SH/box instead of 400SH. Scarban can only be used if all areas are closed.

Thank you Mikimi.  I hope everything heals beautifully for you.  That's quite a savings on the Scarban!

Seems to be working really well. Scars on m arms are already al,ost invisible. The area under my breast that was a little thicker is starting to lay flat and thin out. Worth the $50 for the tiny tube.  You only use a very tiny amount and it lasts all day. Plus no messing around with strips. I would have sent you th e link but my lap top hard drive decided to take a nose dive. I'm having to use my sons iPad and I haven't figured out how to send links on this thing yet!
