Breast implants?

Hi all!
When the time comes, I am considering getting a reduction. I am currently a 42DDD and I don't seem to be shrinking in cup size AT ALL. I am 43 y/o and we are done having children so I really don't need them anymore the purpose they were intended for . I would really like to hear about some of your experiences, good or bad, if you've had a breast reduction.

 I started at 42dd or ddd.  The girls didn't seem to be leaving.  This summer I was a 34dd, but then suddenly this fall I seemed to be shrinking some.  I had a BL on 12/9 and after much talk with Dr. Sauceda, decided on the lift with a small reduction and no implants.  I tried on a friends bra  ( I know silly right?). The other day and appear to be a full C now.  I'm over the moon happy.  I'll see where they end up when the swelling goes down.  I'm 61 and have been big all my life.  This is a real pleasure.

One thing that has changed since my post is that I have decided to hold off on the implants and may actually decide not to get them all together.

I am actually liking the C cup. It's althetic and still a little sexy.  I won't look as flat once i get rid of the compression bra and have a real bra.   I can also go without a bra because they are so perky.

My PS is awesome, she is in Reno, NV Dr. Tiffany MCCormack.  She sepcialize with WLS patients.  my surgery with family referral discounts was around $5500.

I started out 42DDD as well..After I lost 160 pounds.. they went down to 34/36 DD.  However, most of the boob was skin.. After you lose more weight, you will see a difference in the fullness of the breast..

I decided to go with the Breast lift & Saline implants.. I think i will end up a 34 D? I wont be able to tell for many weeks to come..

I started pre-WLS op as a 44DD/44DDD. I wound up a 34D.

Had reconstruction, including a lift-reduction, with the surgeons thinking I'd wind up a 34B/C. I wound up a 32D.

DH would like a bit more "heft" to the girls, but I'm quite content where I wound up.

My surgeons told me that they prefer to do lift/reduction one time, and implants at a later time to avoid tightening the skin while stretching it, as they would have to for a good result putting them together. As a result, I was able to see how things were without the implants and make my decision then.

Se if that may be a choice for you as well.
