Man, you are industrious!! Your resolutions actually help fulfill one another--being active gives you the energy to organize which will leave you more time for the family with whom you can travel once your bills are paid off!!

Way to go!!

What are yours, Denise?

I don't do "resolutions", per se, but I set goals. Kinda the same thing, i guess, but to me "resolutions" has a negative connatation..

In 2012 I plan to:

1. Get my body fat below 20% (right now it's 23)
2. Become a personal trainer

Happy New Year, everyone!!

I resolve not to make any resolutions!! LOL!  I don't have a lot of control over my main goal, but I just want to feel "normal" again from this surgery. The things I will to do help facilitate that are to increase my protein intake and stay on top of my vitamins. I MUST get back to the gym and will the second I'm released by the doc to do so. I also want to find some peace in some areas of my life that are currently not peaceful, so my goal is to make a concrete game plan for how to go about obtaining said peace. Beyond that I want to be more organized in the house. A cluttered home makes for a cluttered mind and I can't afford any more mental clutter than I already have!

I love your goals!! Isn't it exciting to have a body that will allow you to be a wonderful ambassador for fitness! You must be so proud!!

Happy New Year!

I've gained 10lbs since my plastics this summer.  My pants are tight.

SO - My goal is to get rid of it!  I've been reading about the Primal way of eating...and I'm going that way this year...

I've heard of the Primal way of eating. I support you by eating a big fat steak! That's about where my primal eating ways end. LOL! Good for you for recognizing where you need to improve and acting on it.

Let us know how the primal meal plan works for you!

Definitely a great start! I always say one good day breeds another. I also say consistency is key, so even if you miss a couple days, get right back to it. No guilt. No "starting Monday". Sounds like you have a great attitude. I wish you much success!!
