Brachioplasty, where to put the incision?

I'm scheduled for the 10th of January and I want to know the pro's/con's of having the incision on the inner arm instead of the posterior.  My PS says he'll do it either way but prefers the posterior approach.  What's your opinions OH?

Mine is on the inner area and I am very happy with the scars.  You can't see it from the front or the back, if I have my arms down.  I can't comment on pain, my incision pain was minimal, my lipo pain was about a 6 out of 10!

  Mine are inner and I love the placement. You really can't see the incisions from the front or back!

I also have inner incisions and I'm happy with them.  My only "problem" area was in the armpits.  A couple stitches popped and reaching and extending were not comfortable.  It's been 7 months and my incisions are still numb and I get "burning" from reaching high or lifting something heavy.  Scars look good.

Mine is neither fish nor fowl - between the inner and posterior, about where the tan line from being outside is. It gives the best of both worlds. You can see the incisions a small bit on the upper arm from the back, and in the elbow area (mine goes just past the elbow), but that's really it.

Mine are inner,  The surgery was over two years ago - I don't even notice the scars any more.

Mine are on the inner area (see pix on my profile from right after it was done and from a couple of weeks ago) and man, I love it. I can wear any shirt and they barely show.

Nicholle, your pics are great. I'll be. Very happy if mine turns out as well! I still can't add pics but after surgery I guess I'll have time to figure that out.
