PS did the most beautiful TT but did not touch the love handles

 HI,
I had panni removal and TT done on 12/16.
The PS removed about 10 pounds .
The stomach looks beautiful and the incisions healed well very fine lines.
The doctor is Armen Kasabian in New York.
I am however a little sad that he did no touch my love handles. I have them and i wished he has done some lipo there too.
Did anyone else have this situation.
Now the stomach is flat but the love handles look  huge.
Any advice on what to do  next?

Thanks

I had an agreement with my surgeon of exactly where he would lipo and what he would do.  I only needed lipo on my thighs.  I had a very small muffin too that appears to have been taken care of with my lower body lift.  I think that is part of the difference between a body lft and a tummy tuck.

You may need a little additional work later to get the final results that you would like.  I know that a lot of people need more than one stage of plastics for optimal results.

Since my doctor did not give me any compression garment does anyone know where I can buy one in NYC?

During my consult, my PS said that he "has to stop somewhere" if he's not doing a full lower body lift, which goes the full circumference of the torso.   It might just be that was the stopping point in your case and it may just require further work to finish the job.

I had spoke with my PS and she stated that this was part of her proceedure, hoever, the law will only allow so much lipo to be done. Maybe this was the reason. You should talk to them .

When I went for my consult with the PS who did my LBL.  I went in asking about a TT.

He told me that the TT wouldn't address the rolls of skin/fat that I had on my sides, back and butt. That the Circumferential Lower Body Lift would give me the best effect.

I had an extended TT about two years ago.  When I went in a few weeks ago I asked about lipo for my sides and was told it's not fat it's excess skin so in June I'll be having a "posterior lift" which continues around from where the TT left off - so a LBL but in stages.

It's difficult not to create "dog ear's"  or posterior bulging when you do a front only procedure like a panniculectomy. To treat many of those you's need to extend the incision another 8-10 inches and flip the patient prone.

To me those are two totally different areas (tummy tuck is in the front, love handles are on the back) so unless you spoke to your surgeon about this, how would he know to do the lipo? I did have this conversation with my surgeon. I did not particularly want lipo on my love handles, but he said if he thought I needed it to improve my shape, he would do it during my surgery. It was something we discussed. Did you discuss it with your surgeon? (and he ended up not doing lipo on me)

Thanks for all the info guys.
I did ask him but he said it would be too much with TT and lip in the front to lipo in the back . Plus he said it will draw away from the good shape he can give in the front.
Maybe he was right.
But Now i know I have to get something done on the back as it looks bad now with the rolls on the back.
I was wondering if only lipo would help.
Guess need to figure out what to do next.
This TT is painful as hell.
The doctor said it will take 4-5 weeks to heal so lets see.
