Great to hear everything went well for you. My WLS surgeon did my Hernia repair to, must be nice to double dip like that and make a living at it. After you get done wearing the vest switch to compression shirts if no one had mentioned it by now. I'm over 4 months out from mine and still wear one evryday to help with sewlling. Walmart 10 bucks has the best deal around far as I know.

Hope everything continues to go well for you and Merry X-mas.

Know one ever mentioned it to me either, a guy in my WLS did so happy to pass it along. Look for the starter brand with 19% spandex the higher the % the tighter it will fit. It's almost like a security blanket at this point, wear it 23 hours a day. I started to wear it actually under my binders at week 4 so it was nice to have it to get a break from the binders once in while. I had 5 drains, with the last one being pulled at week 6 day before I went back to work and could finally take a shower again. I had a log sheet for the drains and emptied then twice a day, the whole time. At the end of 6 weeks I had drained 1.32 gallons to give you some perspective on how much fun I had. If you don't mind gettting your eyes burned out, I have pics in my profile you can look at to see my before and afters. With one showing my drains and how much fun I was having at the time.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask, I would be happy to help if I can.
