Just lonely
Alicia,
Sorry to hear that you are feeling lonely. I just wanted to mention, in case you are not aware, that there is something referred to as "Post surgery blues (depression)". It is brought on by the medications, the pain from surgical trauma, the emotions of going through all the nervousness and such that you go through leading up to surgery, hormonal changes, and other things. I have had many surgeries, and it usually hits me about about ten days post-op. Thankfully, it does not last long (for me, anyway). Usually a week or two. Still, the surge of emotions can bring on things like crying over the smallest things, getting angry easily, and other things like that. You can do a search about it, and you will see that it's very common. Maybe reading about other's who are experiencing the same thing will help you feel better. Hope you feel better very soon!

Hi JustLooking,
I think you hit the nail on the head. I think it is exactly post surgical depression, hitting right at ten days, and lasting just short of a week.
Its nice to know that someone else feels like this too sometimes, thanks for your post.
