Prices
Hello,
I am just curious of price ranges of tummy tuck, arms, thighs, and breasts. Can anyone list prices or quotes for me from quality surgeons? I live in Maryland but I am willing to travel. (not too far because if it is too expensive, I could put traveling costs towards tt if it is equals out) I am very afraid of arms because of the scars and I am afraid of thighs and arms because of pain. I am expecting that if any, I may get breast covered but just curious to know how much I should try to save per month. I am waiting for approval for band conversion to vsg in early to mid January 2012, so I figure I have at least 18 months to save for the tummy tuck starting in January. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!!
Chris

I elected to go with Dr. LoMonaco in Houston. Paid $24k for BL and BL. Price included 2 nights in hospital, pain pump, garments and all aftercare visits. To add the thighs, arms, and augmentation in a stage 2 surgery it will cost me another $13.5k.
I think these two quotes reflect both ends of the spectrum in terms of pricing. I know both doctors are discussed here on OH and other boards and I really only have ever read positive reviews for both. In the end, you have to elect to go with the surgeon that you feel comfortable with and that you think will give you the best results possible for your money.
Good luck in your journey!
If I were to add Silicone Gummies, the price would be 15,300, but I'm currently having major problems with one breast or the other swelling up as well as terrible flu-like symptoms just before the swelling happens. Several physicians, including the head of the Inflamatory Breast Cancer Center at M.D. Anderson in Houston feel that the swelling is related to my current implants, so I'm getting them explanted and will not be replacing them. I'm not sure if it's the implants, or if it's a problem with my body (my physician suspects Lupus) attacking the implants, but I get really bad pain around the implant when the illness sets in. I've had these implants for 18 years with no problems until March of this year, so not sure what's up.
Best of luck with your revision. I was revised almost two years ago to RNY. I'm down about 70 pounds since my revision, and at my desired weight goal. I have to say, though, that (like most others on here) I REALLY have to watch what I eat to maintain my weight. Surgery and/or revision is not magic, for sure!

Long thight lift with extensive liposucion
Lower body lift with stomach muscle tightening

Long arm lift

Three days later: eyelids, neck lift, face lift. It looks very natural.
I paid just under $20k. It includes two weeks in a hotel for the person who went with me, seven days in a clinic for me and my airfare (under $600) from California, the driver who picked us up at the airport and the taxi the took us back to the airport. It also included the antibiotics and pain medication while at the hotel.
Also included was a daily visit at the hotel as well as a private nurse at the hotel daily to bathe me and dress my incisions and remove drains and stitches. I received two sets of very pricey compression garments that go from calf to elbow.
