I'm home and in a ton of pain. They look 10lbs of skin. I'm definitely in the sad, what did i just do to myself. I think I'll be happy later, but right now I can barely walk, and when i move i feel like 'm going snap in half. When does this pass? help...

YAY!! You're home!  (But not yay to pain). I felt similar... like I was so tight I was afraid I'd fall out of my skin if I moved. Just keep up with those pain meds and do anything to make the swelling go down- lower salt intake, walk around as much as you can handle, I also really liked using a warm compress (which my surgeon recommended) and ordered one form MediBeads and use your compression garment. Everyone heals differently, some were in basically no pain but like you, I was in a lot and had to get a refill on my pain meds and wasn't afraid to ask. It only gets better but seriously sucks at first. Oh, and make sure you are going #2 regularly because that can make you even more full and make the pressure worse. The swelling will be worse the more you stay in the same seated/ flat position so that's why it is important to get up whenever you can tolerate it and go for walks around your home, even if it's 2am and you just got up to pee- go for a lap around your place before you go back to sleep. Slowly but surely you'll stop hunching over like a little old lady and be able to stand taller as the swelling goes down and it will all start to feel better.
Happy Holidays! and glad your surgery is over. This is the hardest part so just make sure to get a lot of rest and don't get too depressed while you're stuck at home- find a good tv show to watch and rent a lot of movies.
Feel better!!!

Thanks! I already feel better. I got better drugs and am just resting a lot. How long until you were able to walk normal and go out in the real world? I still can't really see the results yet so I'm excited to see whats what. Thank you for all your support!
