Thank every one   for your advice. I have a sectional with lots of recliners an baby wipes for my 3 year old when he go's number 2 right by the toilet. I'm ahead of the game already! Is it really a whole 2 months of being uncomfortable in bed or is it different for everyone? I was think n 2 weeks an then I'd be sore but OK. Is that being too optimistic? Just found out today they approved my arms too but doing the arms @ another time. Excited!!!!!!!!!!

I would definitely aim for more time than you think you'll need. I was able to return and do stuff after 3 weeks but was so tired that even the simplest things were embarrassingly too hard (I mean grocery shopping and carrying my bags and putting them away felt like I'd just done some crazy hour long boot camp work out.... in a sauna). Since you're getting the perpendicular incision as well as the horizontal gstring incision (not the pc medical term ) I'm not sure how different your healing will be but I don't think you'll need 2 months unless there was (knock on wood) a complication. Everybody is different so it's hard to know how your body will react. I think it's a nice goal to aim for 2 weeks but I don't want you to feel pressured and say "I have to be better by this time" because that may just stress you out or disappoint you if you end up needing some extra time.
