My 1st Consult is tomorrow!

I am meeting with a PS tomorrow for the first time! I'm a little nervous, I have to admit. My primary referred me, since I'm having issues with rashes under my tummy skin and no treatment seems to be working.

Can someone tell me what to expect in general terms? It sure would help calm the nerves!
Will I have to get completely undressed?
Will he look at my whole body or just the tummy? (It's not like I don't need work all over!)

Heidi dear, if you have inhibitions this will be your first step in losing it... Along with all your clothes. The only thing my PS has allowed me to wear is a smile. It's okay they see more butt than a toilet seat does. In all seriousness, ask specific expectation outcome questions. Know exactly what the quote includes and what the PS thinks would serve you best procedure wise. Policies concerning a revision(heaven forbid) if it becomes necessary Length of care, followup care miscellaneous fees. Get before and after pics of previous patients for the procedure your interested in.

Yea, just a smile for the camera was all I had on.  LOL.  Make sure you see before/after pics of people who have a similar body type as you. 

I agree with asking to see before/afters of people who look like you. Also, look at location of incision lines (some surgeons place them way too high) and belly buttons (some do really bad belly buttons) if those two things are important to you.
