Steve, Swelling is pretty normal and since your doctor couldn't aspirate anything - it is just swelling.  It will improve.  As Lee says res****ch your sodium intake and drink plenty of fluids.  You're really in the recovery phase right now, so swelling is expected.  Actually, massive swelling is not unusual at all at your stage.
Hang in there!  Allow your body to heal and you will see the swelling will lessen.

Steve,

I know that you are just very recently out of surgery, but I'm going to throw out this suggestion with the disclaimer that you may not be able to do this as an early post-op. That being said, jumping on a mini-trampoline, often called "rebounding" is one of the very best ways to get the lympatic system working more efficently. Maybe just lightly bouncing up and down gently would work for you, but you probably need to ask your surgeon's office about it first. Here's a quote from a quick search...

"Almost anything which can stimulate the movement of lymph fluid inside the lymph vessels is beneficial, but the most efficient way to stimulate the flow of lymph fluid is by REBOUNDING on a mini-trampoline. The up and down rhythmic bouncing causes all of the one-way valves to open and close simultaneously, increasing lymph flow as much as 15 times. Rebounding is a highly beneficial form of exercise."
