Hey all.. Has any1 have Smart Lipo done as part of post-weight loss skin/fat removal? How was your experience, easier recovery, less pain, effective & satisfied w/results, etc? Any info would be much appreciated, thx! :)

I'm not exactly sure what type of lipo my surgeon used... probably should have paid more attention but I didn't since it was part of a larger procedure. I got lipo in my arms (to prep for a brachioplasty in a few months because they still had too much fat) as well as during my LBL. As my surgeon let me know before hand, he has found that some of his patients are actually in more pain from the lipo than the rest of their procedure and even though I don't totally agree, I  understand because it's not comfortable. My arms and thighs were very sore because of the lipo and my arms had some pretty grizzly bruises, it also made my wrists and hands swollen. I used ace bandages for a few days then when I had my first post op check I got sleeves. I don't really know how to explain the pain but the closest thing I can relate it to was it felt like my legs but especially my arms had taken a bad physical beating so the pain felt like it was internal and bruise-like (sort of dull and throbby). My arms were really sensitive to mess with for the first 2 weeks. I had to wear my compression sleeves for 6 weeks and I am definitely happy with how much smoother and tighter the areas feel, especially my arms. I'm almost 7 weeks out and they are still sensitive if I press down on them- other than that totally fine.
Hope that helped even though I couldn't be specific.
Good luck with everything if you decide to get the work done!
