I had my BL with auto augmentation and extedned brachioplasty last Tuesday.  I wanted to update y'all on everything.  The surgery lasted around 5 hours and I was in recovery for an hour or so. That day is pretty much a blur for me(as is the day after that and the day after that).  I was in a LOT of pain and felt really nauseated. I was completely doped up and pretty much in a fog.  I tried to get up out of my recliner, with the help of my mother, on that first night and I came really close to passing out and had to just sit down again.  I wasn't able to get up to use the restroom until the next morning.  The first few days were really rough.  I went to my doctor two days after surgery and they had to lay me back and have me drink coke and suck on a peppermint because I almost passed out while I was sitting in the chair.  I was very excited to take a shower, with help, when I got home after the appointment.  It was so refreshing! I went to see my doctor again again on day 6 and I think that day was a big turning point for me. I felt much better and was much more "with it".  He was super encouraged at my progress. My breasts look great!! They are super perky and very full.  I was worried about that since I wasn't getting any implants.  My doctor did an amazing job working with my own tissues to get a great shape.  My right arm looks great.  There is really no bruising on that arm and the swelling is minimal.  My left arm, on the other hand, is extremely bruised and pretty swollen.  He had to do a little lipo on that arm and it is definitely taking a while for the trauma from that to diffuse.  I am wearing a compression sleeve on the left arm, but don't have to wear one on my right arm.  On the whole, I am really pleased with everything. I will update soon...

ps. thanks to everyone here for the support.  It helped a lot to know kind of what to expect with these surgeries before I went into them.
