Breast lift or augmentation?

Hi- I'm thinking about getting a Breast lift, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a good surgeon in Northern California? I really don't want to go through another surgery and have it go wrong. Also, is it true you lose sensation? Any help would be great!

I can't help you with finding a surgeon but I can tell you my experience with sensation.  It's really individual. I did not lose sensation in my nipples but I do have some numbness in my cleavage area and on the bottom of my breasts. I had a full anchor lift so all that area got cut into. It was weird at first but I'm used to it now and don't notice it. It was totally worth it.

You might want to check out the justbreastimplants forums, they're totally dedicated to implants and lifts and they have thousands of users, plus lots of reviews of surgeons and I bet the girls there would be happy to make personal recommendations.

Everyone is different but I had a lift and have had no loss of sensation.

I would suggest Dr. Scott Green. He is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! His pricing is totally reasonable and he is just great. I am having a BL/BA with him in the spring and he did my TT in October 2011. My results have been awesome. He specializes in post WLS patients. He is with Sacramento Surgery Center.

I just had a lift with implants and honestly I don't feel any different now than before surgery in terms of sensation. I think I'm lucky. I have small incision bellow the breast up to around the nipples. Pics on profile

I live in No. Calif and I am having plastic surg in Jan.  I am doing an extended TT with full back lipo...and I think I have an amazing surgeon.  He is Dr. Behmand in Walnut Creek.  I have seen his work and it is amazing.  I am a nurse on the Penninsula and so I know lots around here that do PS but I choose him..I am willing to drive to walnut creek for him.  good luck on your search.

I had my WLS at the same place as you did and I was just wondering why you rate Dr. Behmand so highly? I'm trying to find reviews and stuff online, but I find it so hard to trust those sometimes. I have an appointment with him tomorrow and I think I'm just really nervous about making a mistake. Thanks!

I wanted everything done at once and one recovery.  I went to Dr Sauceda in Monterrey Mexico.  I'm in Sacramento, if you want to see his results.  There are 5 or 6 of us in Sacramento and Monique just left today, her surgery is tomorrow.  I had enough tissue for just a lift and I'm still a 38D.

You can click on Dr Sauceda in my siggy line for his group here on OH, and I've listed his website too.  My nipple sensation came back around 4 weeks out.
