My flight is 6am Thursday!!!
I can't freaking believe that my flight is this Thursday at 6am! I've been watching the calendar for the last two months and someone the last weeks just flew right by me. I think I'm packed, well, way over packed and ready to go. My good friend Nancy is going with me to play nurse and amuser as well as water hauler and protein shake mixer. I'm so lucky that she's willing to go with me for two weeks!
If SFO continues to be clear and my flight leaves on time, I should arrive Monterrey in the afternoon. Dr. Sauceda's driver will pick us up at the airport and take us to the hotel. That night Dr. S will come get me, or someone will and I'll get to meet him and get marked up. At that point I'll discuss everything, yes including whether to implant or not, with him and we'll finalize the game plan. Then it's off to sleep for an early morning wake up for surgery.
Friday is my body work. I'm sure it will take all day as I'm scheduled for LBL, BL, Arms and Thighs. I'm visualizing a perfect outcome for all of it. I keep saying my mantra and I'm taking lots of guided meditations on healing to listen to as I lay there wondering what I've done to myself. My abs are incredibly strong and I've been practicing getting up and down without using my arms or thighs.
I'll most likely spend the weekend in the clinic watching bad TV and checking in here. It's supposed to rain all weekend so I won't miss a thing in the outside world. Nancy will come amuse me and we'll spend time reading and napping and hopefully connecting to Netflix and Skyping with friends back home.
Then Monday morning it's back to the OR for my neck and face lift. Can you say 20 years younger? I hope so!! I'll probably spend another night or two in the clinic after that, then back to the Hampton Inn until the 21st.
So that's my gameplan. I hope that all of you will say lots of prayers for me and send good vibes and healing thoughts my way for my surgery. I hope to be online by Saturday with updates.
I so appreciate all of you and all of the help and support you've given me over the last few months. I know I've been a major pain the tushie with all of my questions, asked over and over and over again. Hopefully I'll get to pay it forward with the newbies that show up just starting their journey.
Wish me luck!! :)

Oh boy Patty, I'll be the first to line up for the drugs! I'm so excited that this is finally happening and will soon be behind me. Let the recovery and healing begin. I'm filled with good thoughts about all of this. I'm going to try to blog about the experience because I know that I have soaked up very blog, probably several times as I've researched all of this.
