international plastics?

Has anyone had plastics outside of the US? how was the expeience, cost, consultation, and recovery? Would you do it again? How do you get aftercare when you come back home?

I hav enot gone yet, but I am going to see Dr Sauceda in Mexico Jan 2. The cost was so much more reasonable then anything I got quoted here in the states. I have met him and love his bedside manner and patience with me. I have seen his work and have been very impressed. I also have not heard anything bad about him. Good luck in your journey.

I had my lbl, 5zones of lipo, breast lift with implants 1-18-06 in Brazil with Dr Kuster.  The whole experience was very good. He is a very talented surgeon. The exchange rate at the time was excellent and this is not cheap surgery it quality surgery done in a place where our dollar goes a lot further. I really liked that I was not sent home to heal day of surgery as I would have done if I had used the Drs here in MN. at the time my total bill for that trip surgery, post surgery lymphatic massages, hotel for the the month< I only needed to be there 2 weeks but since I was a stay at home mom at the time I brought my son and hired a nanny to care for him and took an extended vacation> 12k. To add the lower body lift to the panni the surgeon here though we could fight insurance for was going to be 9k.  Yes I would do it again. My surgeon come to the US once a year to do consultations and I have followed up with him then.  

I went to Monterrey Mexico with Dr Sauceda last Jan for an LBL, BL, arms and medial thigh lift, 4 days later I had a neck & full facelift.  I stayed 2 weeks (I was in the clinic for a week) and the Hampton Inn for another week before flying home.
