NSAIDs can increase bleeding risk.
Notify your surgeon and see what they say...esp since you took 6.

Hopefully your surgeon will just way "ok, just don't take anymore".  Let us know what you find out please.

Why would you take 6? Wow. Those are hard on any stomach. I was told that 4 is the MAX for desperate pain. Two usually. 1 is better.

And you know with RNY that NSAIDs are a no-no right?

I hope you are ok for surgery!

Maybe not.  People deactivate for all sorts of reasons.  We have to have thick skin here online.

Erica...I deleted half of my post before I hit Submit.

Believe me when I say, it definitely would have offended.

You were nice.

My way of thinking is that when you post on a public board, be prepared for responses...the good, the bad and the ugly.

I was thinking the same thing - I could have been WAY harsher -but people are pretty nice around this board

Sometimes I hear posts of people who were never informed that they can't take NSAIDs (hard to believe) after Rny.  Or people who don't know what an NSAID is...and take Advil etc.  So I was giving the benefit of the doubt there...
