XP: Time to decide about breasts!!

I'm trying to decide if I want Implants or not and this is the week I have to make the decision since my surgery is on Friday!!

I started at a 42DD and now I'm a 34DD but shrinking a bit at this point.

Did you have implants? Do you love them? What size did you get?

I more specifically would like to know if you didn't have them. How are they holding up? Are they as perky as you'd like? Anyone a year or more out from BL without BA?

My fear is that they will start to droop again without the implants. Any advise and experience shared is very appreciated.

Sorry Lee can't help you with this one I had mine removed. Don't know if I'll be around the rest of the week, but wanted to take the chance to wish the best possible outcome on your surgery & sending lots of good vibes your way to. Look forward to hearing from you when can post.

Good Luck

Awww, thanks for the great message.  I'll let you know how my Body by Sauceda fits me.  I'll wait to see what he recommends before deciding on what to do.

I'd like smaller, but I want them to stay UP!  :)

I'm only 5 weeks out but LOVING mine! Easiest surgery in the world to recover from. Never felt more pain than the feeling of being engorged while I was nursing. Having some issues with symmetry, but overall very pleased once we get the size thing evened out. Actually wish I had gone a bit larger. Best of luck to you and please keep us updated!

Kate, you've had such a positive experience.  I'm so glad that you're happy with your results.  Who knows, other changes in your body could have your breasts look bigger!  :)

I say go big or go home!! LOL! Do you feel like you still have a lot of fullness with the 34DD or are the girls more deflated? I know my surgeon said I should not lose much volume at all with just the lift, but  I definitely would not have gotten the upper fullness I have now without the implants. There is a  part of me that would prefer not to have the implants--guessing that is more a function of still having some discomfort (really still bugging me when I sleep--not so much during the day) and still not being totally used to their weight. I also am not thrilled with the idea that later in life they need to be replaced, but my surgeon said the 10 year replacement rule is no longer the case and they can last much longer. I'm actually worried that the weight of the implants will cause me to droop more than I would have had I just had the lift, so interesting that you worry about the opposite. I do have to admit that I love their size. And again, I think I have a much nicer look than I'd have had with the flat upper chest I'd have been left with without them.

Oh, and my husband loves them, for what that's worth. I can't wait to hear what you decide!!!! Not much longer now!!!

GO BIG or GO HOME!~   I didn't even need to look to see who wrote that!

You're a hoot young lady.  At 61 it's natural to have some curve to my breasts.  I just don't want the curve happening around my waistband, so I'm considering just lifting them up to where they should have been for the last 5 decades. I'd love to be smaller than I am now.  My 34DD are totally full and if I pull them up like a marionette, quite nice looking.  At my age, I don't want to have to think about replacing them when I'm 80.   I'll see what Dr. S has to say on Thursday.  Holy Crap, it's almost Thursday!!

Now send me your husband please and I'll get an evaluation from him.!  NOT!  :)

I'm only 4 and a bit months out. Just a lift. I wear the same bra size as pre surgery.

Im totally happy with just a lift. Super easy recovery and everything was very quickly back to normal. And I love not wearing a bra and not having to tuck my boobs into my waist band.

No noticable sag yet. Not a lot of upper fullness without a bra, but with a little Victoria's secret help, I'm all good. With a double up VS bra I'm VAVAVA-VOOM !!!

Im grateful to not have the worry of complications, replacements, mammogram struggles etc. I feel very "au-naturale". Same reason I chose the sleeve as my WLS.
