I saw Dr. Livingston today for my 3 week check up, and man was he impressed!  He removed the rest of my steri strips!

AND the best part.... He cleared me to 1) begin bowling again in my leagues; and 2) I can begin to run (well walk at first) up to 3 miles a day!!!!

OMG, I AM SO EXCITED!!

(Yes, yes, yes... I know!  Take it slow and easy and first and I will!  I am just so happy I get to get moving again!!!)

**Jumps up and down while cheering, lol**

So thankful for my DS! 1/20/2012 - SW 290/CW 155 - 1 year to lose, 1.5 years and counting maintaining!

Wow!! That is amazing. I think if I jumped up and down right now to cheer I'd not only pee on myself, but I'd probably lose an implant!! :)

Glad things are going so well. Now go bowl you a turkey!! X X X

Good luck!

I wonder how long till you can go back to any activity?

I hoop which the hoop rides right along where the scar will be and uses all your abdominal muscles. Belly dance, go dancing at clubs, and occasionally row.

I can't imagine sitting home for anymore than two weekends :(

Oh, the sitting at home was KILLING me!  It's been 3 weeks since I've done any type of physical activity, minus just normal walking around!

He knew I was DYING to get back to it.  He said just go low and slow and no more than 3 miles at first (I am used to when in just work out mode, not training mode running between 6-8 miles 5-6 days a week!) and then to slowly increase my speed and my distance.
