What was the most important item??
What could you not live without for the first 10 days after surgery?
What did you buy or bring with you that you did not end up using?
I appreciate the information.

Plastics w/ Dr Sauceda Jan 02, 2012 Tummy tuck, Breast lift w/ implants.
I love my lift chair recliner.
Bought a grabber thing. I kept dropping stuff and it came in handy as I could not bend over to pick up the remote or toilet paper roll that fell on the floor.
I second the stool softener!!!!!
Extra strength Tylenol. Get off narcotics as soon as you can stand it.
A pack of bed pads. I was not into wearing underwear at first and just seemed better than nothing, plus if you have any leaks you won't mess up sheets and blankets.
Lots of pillows.

I personally really loved my toilet seat raiser and it was worth it for me. Also very much appreciated my stool softener AND my milk of magnesia, both were required. I didn't end up eating as much protein and protein powder as I thought I would because I simply couldn't handle it with the narcotic pain meds, had to stick to simple carbs. So all the meat and stuff that i bought ended up in the freezer.

The clothes I wore to the hospital are the clothes I wore home, Big sweats and zip up hoodie. With my one night stay in the hospitall all I took was my phone and charger and chapstick.
While at home I loved my high rise toilet seat and shower found that I really only used the shower chair twice. I hung my drains on a tied shoe string while I showered.
I LOVED the lift recliner that I rented.
I ate and am still eating lot's of yogurt, tuna and other protein based foods. I already keep protein powder on hand.
I'm 3 weeks out and having a really good recovery!
Good luck!

Breast lift- Spring 2013
I had a lbl and bl 5 months ago.
I could not have lived without:
raised toilet seat- would not have made it without it
my mom's adjustable bed- made it so easy to get in and out of bed as soon as I got home from the hospital- I never needed any help
stool softener
maxi pads to cover my incisions- much cheaper than gauze
