compression advice for tummy tuck!
Hi guys,
I'm due to have my tummy tuck early january and i'm just wondering about compression garments any of you have wore; I get one provided from my surgeon but obviously I am wanting more. I have purchased a pair of extra firm breifs are these correct? if so I could buy some more; I have also seen on another cosmetic surgeons website a binder which I could purchase would anyone advise this? would I need to wear this with the breifs? Also anyone who has had a tummy tuck what did you wear for bed? should I wear the one my surgeon gives me during the day and wear some thing different for bed? I dont live in America and i've only seen this one binder on the internet so any advice anyone has would be much appreciated.
Thank you

This is the one I bought from my surgeon's office after about a week. I wore the binder I woke up in until my drains came out and then after than I switched to this one. (I paid $75 through my surgeon's office)
I wore this one during the day and then my binder at night. My PS said that items like spanx and what not were not "good enough" and she wanted me to use something that was designed for post surgical wear.
It was actually fairly comfortable and I looked awesome under my clothes so I plan to use it again if I need to look extra smoothe under a dress or something!

I had THIS one with the hooks and zippers on each side. I loved it. I definitely would not have wanted to tug anything up and down over my incision early out. It could have ripped open. Also this one has the hole in the crotch so It was easy to use the restroom.

I bought this one: http://www.contourmd.com/Full_Body_Girdle_Mid_Thigh_for_Women_p/982p.htm
and was charged for a similar one from my surgeon as well. I felt much more secure with my compression garment on.
