Want to check in re: swelling TT people from Spring/Summer
I had the Fleur de lis TT, panni, lipo to my hips, and BL/BA 7/14/11. I came out really flat in my tummy. I then had the normal swelling especially towards the end of the day. I've worn my compression garments since my surgery all the time. I have the mons swelling people talk about but now I seem to have a pooch or rolls????? If I sit down without my garment on my stomach sticks out in a triangle type formation???? I'm getting a roll above my garment. Of course I'm freaking out thinking I'm gaining weight but I'm not. My weight is exactly the same. I'm very flat when I'm standing. This is only with sitting. I stopped losing weight Jan 2010 and have basically been maintaining since. I've been happy with my surgeries but this change in my stomach makes me paranoid. I'm always afraid of gaining weight or my panni coming back. Anyone else having this issue at all? I know you swell for a long time. I'm not doing new exercise that would trigger this. I saw my doctor a couple weeks ago and he noticed I was swollen. I didn't get into my fears about the "rolls".
Let me know so I feel better.
Thanks!

If I eat hardly anything my upper stomach (like the roll below the bra line) gets really extended. I asked the Dr. and they said it's because that's the only place that can stretch now since the lower stomach has all been pulled so tight. They said it'd get better, but geez! And I do mean......eat hardly anything! I quit carbonated stuff to see if that helped but not really!

My lbl/bl was June 28th, so I'm about 5 months out now. Most of my swelling has gone and I am FINALLY feeling smaller now. I do still notice a little swelling in my lower abdomen at the end of the day, but it goes away by morning. I'm about 7 pounds lighter now than I was at surgery (I had 5 pounds removed, so my weight is pretty much the same).
