please help me, depressed about infections

 thank you Julie!!!  somehow it makes me feel bettter knowing that I'm not the only one with a wound their hubby is packing.  :)  I am focusing on water, rest, and protein.  

 Thanks muffin!  They have me on Bactrim for the infection and took a culture which they will know for sure what kind of infection on Monday.  I am resting.  Listening to the body for sure.  Thanks for the encouragement.  I hadn't really thought about the depression of anesthesia wearing off and I had 10 hours of it so maybe that plays into this as well.  -Amy

 It was supposed to be 7 but he wasn't happy with the look and my vitals were so doing so well they kept going to get it right.  I swelled up about 15 lbs for a few days and now I am 5 lbs below my surgery morning weight.......which my surgery morning weight was actually a few lbs higher than normal because I had just ridden 100 miles on the bike and  consumed a ton of G2 (salt).

Hang in there! I too am very frustrated by the slow healing process.. Week three today w/ my bulb is still pumping out 100 cc a day...Ugh, I really didnt know it would be so long. Plastics are a beast to recover from after massive WLS I learned... Gwyn
