home from back and breast lift - dr michaels is an artist!

well the procedure took an hour longer than anticipated but the results are absolutely AMAZING i have to say the boobs are a work of art and the back is incredible. My IV infiltrated in my right arm so my fingers currently have a mind of their own. So far only one pain pill today,  I have walked around the block and am ready for a shower! 

 I'm so thrilled for you, if the results look this good right now, think of how happy you'll be when you're all healed, it will only get better!! I hear you on the IV problems, I had the same thing and my arm still gets soreness and shooting pain weeks later. Warm wet compresses help sometimes. You're just gonna have to wait that one out unfortunately. But congrats on the great surgery results!! 

Hey hey!! Dr. Michaels was a super nice guy. I was very tempted to go with him, but he would not do the LBL with the BL/BA and I knew it was now or never!

Congratulations and easy recovery!
I am scheduled for BL on Jan 6 and I asked my dr if he can do my back as well, but he told me no because he does not want to turn me over. he told me I can get gematoma for my breasts if I will lay on them.
Can you tell me how your procedure was done?

They started out with me on my stomach -- I have a bra line incision across my back basically from armpit to armpit.  They did the back (and aparently there was some moveing - i.e. bending and straightening to ensure it was tight) and then flipped me over to do the front.  I had a lot of issues and my surgery took about 8 hours.  I think both sides look amazing and I have felt some discomfort but over all pretty good.  I think it is important that you work with someone that specializes in post WLS procedures.

I'm glad things went well.  I have already had abdominoplasty with another surgeon, but Dr. Micheals is doing my butt and thigh lift (along with revising the abdominal incision).  Super glad you like your results!  Just wait until you are healed! :-)  Here hoping for a smooth recovery!

How exciting.  I think you will totally love Dr M - He is my hero (along with Dr B that did my WLS).
