 My recovery at home begins.  Surgeon believes about 30 pounds removed.

Wow! That's alot of skin that you had removed. I had heard that the average amount was 8-10 pounds of skin. Best of luck for a quick recovery! I have my first plastics consult on November 28.


Highest weight = 272, surgery weight = 240, goal weight = 135

WOW!  That seems to be the common first reaction to 30 lbs of skin removed.  You will feel soooo much better.  You have done an inspiring job of weight loss.  Here's to an easy recovery!

Congrats on your weight loss and your successful surgery!   30 lbs!!!! I bet you feel different!  I feel like I have that much to be removed but really do not know.  I am very curious to find out.  I was just thinking when I first start walking I bet I do feel different.  Like something is missing that I really will not miss. lol  Heres to your quick recovery!  ~Sharon

I just noticed you live in Peterborough - my inlaws used to live in Greenfield, I've gone shopping in Peterborough many times.
