Itchy, sore, hypersensitive scars...

I'm almost 6 months post fleur de lis TT and brachioplasty.  My arm scars are very sensitive.  I like to wear cuddleduds under my tops so help.  There isn't pain - but they feel stretched, tense, scratchy and sensitive.

My belly scars don't bother me - but the muscles in my belly are still really sore.  I'm sore at the end of the day from just carrying myself around upright!  If I lift anything over 20# - then I hurt.  I have heating blanket on belly as much as possible and use some essential oils for discomfort rubbed into the skin of my belly.  I also get massages for belly.  PS says it may take a year to feel normal. (I did have an open wound from tissue necrosis - and that is delaying healing.)

What are cuddleduds?

Mine hurt if I scratch.  They don't hurt at other times - they just itch.  Not non-stop, but intermittently.  If I just rub them through my shirt for example, they are sore - kind of like they felt when they were still a fresh scar.  But a real scratch or poke - YIKES!

I do hot yoga - I find my belly scar especially is VERY tight at times, but after about 10min in hot yoga, it losens right up and feels SO much better.  The effect lasts about a day...

Cuddleduds are an undergarmet for warmth (tops & bottoms) like thermal underwear by silky.  They keep me warm and are tender on my incisions.

I'm decorating for Christmas - and all the stretching up high, squatting, lifting, getting in odd positions is really making my belly and arms sore.

I think I need to be exercising to build up my "core" muscles.  Last time I saw the PS (one month ago) he told me to wait.  I am just so weak in the belly area.

I have used cortisone cream on my arm incisions to kinda relax the scar and it seems to help.

I use BioOil on my scars when not using the silicone sheets and compression - and I do find that helps.

I also started doing hot yoga recently.  My scars SCREAM when they are being stretched - and sometimes get red kind of "bruises" underneath after.  BUT after my workout they are far less tight, and the red areas seem to heal lighter after?  So strange...
