How did you afford it?
My RNY was covered by insurance. But my plastics were not. I am having to do my surgeries at different times because i can not afford to do it all at one. I saved. I omitted some Girl's Night Out's. I couponed and set aside the money saved. I was able to pay for my TT ($6500) without acquiring any debt. I wil be having a breast lift and augmentation in February or March of 2012. And then if I still feel like I need it a brachioplasty in September 2012. Then I will be done.
Good Luck with saving up and getting plastics done. It is seriously worth every penny!!

Hi
I'm just starting to get some background on plastics, since I'm still in the early losing phase. I had to pay for my RNY (long story), but I had a fund where I put away $50 per paycheck since I started working. We use that to purchase cars or other expensive things, then pay ourselves back. Can't get a new car until the fund is replenished.
That's how I funded the RNY, and most likely how I'll be funding any plastics. I have a ways to go before the fund is back where it was pre-RNY.
