The nurse in your case and the surgeon in my case need to be better than the day before. This has got to an industry that is 80-90% self pay. I don't think there is anyone on here ever posted if I'm not perfect after this surgery you'll hear from my lawyer. This is not walmart plastic surgery where if you get a smile out of the checker it's like wow. I have my 12 week this friday I've working up in a nice way to tell her I'm unhappy with my scars not being symmetrical. I can handle the uneveness of it but when it feels wierd just with underwear on it's not right & I have problem with that.

My saddle bags Wait uh love handles yah that sounds better are an absolute wreck but that's another procedure. Will probably have those done with arms and a back excision at some point when my other ship comes in HAHA.

Curious though how does one pour themselves into a compression garment? Do you liquify yourself, maybe you are part jello and that will help just wondering. I don't think you would be able to pull those eyelids over your giant head denise. You may want to pin them to your eyebrows then just grow a unibrow that would take some of the focus off your giant head. Maybe you could rent your head out as a pinata and fill it with reeses.

Have a great day everyone!!

Bubs, bubs, bubs (with 1 b), aren't you just the conflicted little thing. You giveth support then you taketh away. I actually stood in front of the mirror and practiced my dialog to make sure I wasn't going to come across wrong. Seems she was the one who should have stood in front of the mirror!Unfortunately, I don't have anymore ships coming in. Do you think you could toss the lifeboat(couldn't bring myself to say dingy--wait, just did) off yours with a few ducketts in it for me?

Given the state of my inner thighs, I'm quite certain I am part jello! I'm glad my head has been such a source of fodder for you. I actually forgot the other day where the giant head thing originated!! I remembered that it was because I am the bomb and all of my adoring OH fans reminded me of that fact, repeatedly. :) I think that instead of the unibrow, I should have you and your "love handles" stand next to me--that'll distract 'em! And there are will be no Reese's left to put in my headata because you've snarfed them all.

I am excited to hear how your appt goes. Get 'em tiger!  Have a good night at work!

Your friend,

Timex (takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'!)

No, it didn't. It started with a B. Funny, there is another B word I can think of to describe her!! LOL!. It really wasn't that bad, but it did leave a bad taste in my mouth. Did you have trouble there? Honestly, every other time it has been like a party when I'm there. The girls at the front all gathered around giggling with me and Dr. Lickstein leaving me reassured and confident. It was weird. Maybe she was just having a bad day.

Oh, and I'm thinking of you and sending good mojo to you for your surgery. Can't wait to hear how it goes!! Tell Lickstein I said hi!

I said " M". You must really have B in mind . Too funny.

Well he had me take another blood draw to make sure my hematocrit level is not going down. So we'll see if there is surgery on Friday. I'm really upset. Just stressful to be mentally prepared then maybe nothing will happen.

I think you look great. By the way

I'm sorry you are having a tough time, Denise!! My outer thighs/saddlebags are a mess, too. I'm thinking the only way to get rid of mine will be lipo on the outer thigh area and then remove the excess skin with an inner thigh lift. Sigh...

I did have lipo! I think the most frustrating part is that I have the residual pain and numbness without the results!! Ugh. I want to poke myself in the eye with a shrimp fork to think of more surgery, but I want to poke myself in the eye with a rusty fireplace poker to think of staying self conscious about these damn legs. Double sigh...

Well the bright side it that this revision is not painful.  I know that's not helpful but I thought I'd try, LOL.

I don't think you are out of line.  If your doctor gave you those high expectations, then he should stand by his words.  I think at your next visit you should demand to see the dr and tell him you thoughts.  Don't bother with the nurse, she didn't make the promises he did.

I hate that you are not happy with the results.  I hope the healing process continues and you don't have to go through this again.

BTW...I think I would want to slap the nurse for those comments.  That is just unappropriate.  I would have said something back like, I cannot believe that you work here and haven't had (insert something like liposuction on your butt since it's sooo big) since you work here.  I figured you'd get a discount or something. (Just kidding...I would never really say that...I may think it though...lol)

Good luck and I will say a special prayer for you today....

Let me know when your next visit is.  We'll go early and drag that nurse into the closet and tie her up, certainly gag her as well so that she can't speak to you that way.  We'll make sure that you go directly to the head of the line to see the doc.

I'm so sorry you're not stellarly happy with your results.  Oy vey, what a mess.  Hang in there and hope that something can be done, or that it will get better on it's own.
