1 Week Out & Feeling AMAZING
Hello All! I am one week out from my Pani Removal and Tummy Tuck and oh boy am I totally LOVING IT!
I have my first post-op appointment tomorrow and I am REALLY hoping he will pull the two drains I have in out. They are both down to draining about 1/2 tsp of fluid per day, so I'm hoping they will be gone! They don't hurt but are more just annoying and a pain in the rear to deal with!
I was pretty much freaking out pre-op over how I would recover and I have to say that I've done way better than I could ever had imagined! I already feel up to walking on the tredmill although I promised my surgeon I wouldn't yet! I have learned that counghing is the end of me! OMG, whatever happens I must NOT cough! LOL
The swelling has already gone down so much in just a week and I know it will continue to go down and up and down and up and down for months! I have pictures posted on my profile if you want to check them out!

I'm very impressed with the location of your incision, it looks great. What a transformation you have made, I know you feel wonderful. You may be similar to me that since WLS everything has changed. Once it seemed not to matter to continue eating badly since it seemed impossible to get things turned around so a little more couldn't hurt much since we were obese. Or lose a hundred pounds and put a 120 back on. What an amazing tool. My favorite activity now is weight training and cardio. I am close to being in body building competition shape if not for this skin. On 12-8 that is going to change with a LBL and a medial-thigh lift ( mini by crescent cut).
I NEVER want to go back to that old life style. My favorite meal now is smoked salmon and steamed vegetables. You look wonderful, I bet you get some jaw dropping looks from people who new you prior. I hope you achieve all you desire. Happy healing.

You look great and looking at your pictures reminded me that I need to stuff that yellow gauze in my belly button. Got 6 of 7 drains pulled today and they forgot to re stuff me!
Keep up the great recovery!

Wow...You go girl. I can't believe the amount of fluid you are down to. That is awesome.
Becareful with the treadmill. After I had gastric I started exercising - after doctor released me. I went to a Zumba class and within minutes my incision was burning. So I stopped. Later I realized my scar that was pencil lead thin, was now spreading. It probably spread to 1/2 -1 inch wide and turned dark purple. It was so ugly.
Luckily my dr removed it when I had my TT and Panni removal last month. I vowed I was waiting 6 months at least this time to start exercising...lol..
I'm so happy for you and your wonderful results. Keep up the good work!
