LBL effect on tops of thighs?
I'm looking into a LBL and BL/BA. I've gone to 2 consultations. The first doctor said I didn't need a BL at all, just the BA. He also said that with the LBL, the small amount of extra skin I have on my upper thighs will tighten up slightly which would resolve the issue I have with that part of my legs and he wouldn't recommend a medial thigh lift.
The second doctor said I DO need the BL plus BA due to some asymetry issues. As for the LBL, he said that was do-able but it wouldn't do anything for the little bit of excess skin on my upper thighs.
So here's my question: when you had your LBL done, did you notice ANY tightening in the upper leg area?
Thanks in advance for the info!

Hello!
I am 6 weeks postop of my LBL. I was disappointed that the Dr's wouldn't do the thigh lift at the same time, but understood time constraints issues. They did lipo 200 cc off each outer thigh and removed 8 lbs of excess skin. My thighs look so much better! Not good enough to not do the thigh lift, but might only have to a small thigh lift instead of the scar down toward the knee. We will make the decision when we are sure all the swelling is gone. I am planning my thigh lift around June/July next year. I do have some pictures that really show a huge difference. If you friend me, I will give you the password.
Good luck!
Gail
