How long did you wear your binder?

Well, that explains it really well.  Thank you so much.  I'm good at engineering but biology has never been my strong point.  So I tried going without the binder yesterday as my compression adidas capris go up to my waiste, and boy did the upper half of my stomach swell.  Since I've always had compression on, I never noticed it before.  So I need to get to Target and get some shape wear that covers my whole stomach.

Thanks for all the info.

This is a great thread with good information.

Dr. Sauceda told me to wear my binders for six weeks.  He said people like to wear them longer but there is no medical need to do so.  I find them to be so uncomfortable that I'm counting down the next two weeks to get them off.  I'll probably switch to flexes after that.

Have any of you found a good next stage garment for your arms?
