WOW moments since plastic surgery--share yours!

I realized a couple things over the past couple days. I was shaving my legs and no longer had belly wiping shave cream off my thigh!! Also realized I didn't have to lift anything up to dry off. And sex--umm, let's suffice it to say things are very much improved in that arena. Sorry if TMI, but what a blessing to not have the self consciousness like before!

Please share the things that are new and improved since surgery.

I love walking around neked in front of my boyfriend now. He loves that, too (sex has always been great)

He was against me having surgery, but now that he sees how much it has helped my self-confidence, he admitted he is happy I did it.

I can hardly wait for my WOW moments!! ...but my wow moment today (pre op) is that 2 months from today I will get my PS!! Thanks to all of you for sharing your experiences..it is so helpful!!

Well I'm only days out but just sitting in my recliner and being able to me my vagee without raising up my belly makes me wan to cry. Took off my binder to change dressings and as chopped up and frankenstein as I look I'm likeing what I see.My arms are wrapped in ace bandages and I would love to ditch those drains as they are not putting out much but no drain removal until next wednesday.

HW 405- Pre op weight 374- Plastics weight 203 Current weight 194

Just had another...my first time in the hot tub and I don't float away anymore! I used to have to brace myself, but no longer. Guess it's true that fat floats!

I have to say my wow moment is that I actually like to look at myself in a mirror or window. For YEARS I would try to not look at myself if I passed by a mirror or window. I would just get so depressed at my appearance. Now I'm like - wow, look how hot I am...lol I do a double take everyday to make sure it really is me...

Surgery is Dec 28....but I just wanted to share my pre-plastics WOW that I had yesterday.
I only had 2 pair of jeans, a size 8 and a size 6. Once it started getting cold I was going to buy a couple of pair of jeans. Then I realized that may be a waste because I will be having plastics in Dec and I am not sure what size I will be after surgery so I decided to just get by with those two pair. Well....my size 6 jeans got a hole in them so I decided to go ahead and buy a couple of pair......
WOW moment......SIZE 4!!!!

I was so happy!!!! I know I will probably not be able to wear them for a couple of months after surgery due to swelling so I am hanging on to my size 8's.........but until Dec 28th...I will be wearing them with pride!!!
