Well I've responded to a couple of people on here but never introduced myself. As you can see my name is Monique and if you look at my signature line you'll see what I've been through on my weightloss journey.

I'm just curious if any of you have had plastics even though you never made it to goal. I've come close to my goal, but am a ways away from a normal BMI. I'm scheduled to have a lbl, anchor cut tt, bl/ba, arm lift, and small thigh lift. My weight fluctuates between 170-173. I guess I'm just kind of curious as to what my results will be like.

Also if any of you have any before and after pics you wouldn't mind sharing I would appreciate it.
Thanks everyone!

I am 190 lb and 5'0. I started WLS joutney as of 374 lb.
i think I will never be at real goal but I like how I am look now.
I did TT last year and I am 185lb now and very happy.
My PS told me that I need to keep my current weight, not to gain any and results will be ok.
Good luck to you.
Alla

Thank you for responding. I'm definitely trying to find people who are satisfied with their results. I'm glad you've had good results even though you're not at goal.

I am currently 168.  I was 176 when i had the TT.  My ultimate goal would be 145 -  though I dont know if I will ever get there.

I think my results are awesome.  Everything is completely flat!  I don't have any fat rolls on my Tum for the first time in my life.  I can wear clothes and cute undies and my fat doesn't try to roll over them.  When I look down I now see boob then floor.  i used to see boobs, fat roll, fat roll floor.

My highest weight was 315 when I was pregnant with my son.  so I am down around 150 lbs total.  I decided to have the surgery now for several reasons. 1.  My insurance covers it now and we may be looking for new employment in a year or less, 2. I would get rashes and lesions under my rolls so excersing was difficult and pain ful -  actually life was difficult and painful, 3.  I feel happy at my current weight and I don't know if i will be losing much if any more and i am OK with that.

That being said because insurance paid for my TT I did not get ANY additional services -  no lipo or anything other than cut off the fat, repair the muscles, sew it all back up.  I did have a mass of fat removed off my pubic area, but my surgeon did that out of her own generosity -  I could not afford the extra $2300 that would have cost me to do that.  IDK why she did that -  but I am so eternally grateful to her for doing it!  So I still have some fat that was on my upper abdomen that has now been moved to my lower abdomen.  its more spread out so its not noticeable and my tum does appear flat -  but my results could have been better if I had paid for lipo, but honestly -  i don't care about that.  I am so happy with my results and I think I look awesome at 168lbs!  Oh and my BMI is 29.9 so I am just BARELY under obese.  I don't put too much store in BMI because it doesn't take into effect bone structure and muscle mass its just a height/weight ratio.

I don't have any pics

145 was my goal at first too. I forgot that I might lose a few pounds when they remove some of the skin and fat. I guess I'm just worried that everything won't be flat. I even had a dream last night that I was all swollen looking in the middle.Thank you so much for the reassurance. I guess I just keep getting worried that it won't work. I know I won't be perfect, but I want it to be something that I'm happy with.

Hi Monique and welcome!! I was 200 going into plastics. I'd been steady for 15 months despite working out 3-5 times a week and eating well. I am now 185 after my plastics. I just couldn't wait any longer. Life is too short, know what I mean. Message me for the password to my pics. I'm just not quite as brave as the others on here!!

You will be thrilled with your results!!

Take care and good luck to you!!

Denise
