Pre lap band thru post tummy tuck pics

Cross posted from the LAP forum. I wanted to share with plastics too. I am overwhelmed with happiness right now, it's such a great feeling. Also, hope the pics help for anyone who is 5'7" and 180 and considering plastics, I was skeptical it would have good results at my weight but I am so impressed. I traveled 1000 miles for my surgery and can't go home till I'm healed so the internet is the only way to share my happiness for the moment.



First, a far past glimpse of me around my highest (somewhere 260-270 in all these)







So I lost about 90-95lbs with my band...me at 180, size 10 pants


And then I kept it off for a year...so decided to get rid of that pesky belly!




1 week post-TT and I am literally crying with happiness. I never in my life thought I would see my body without rolls of fat. The TT was exactly what I needed to make the mental connection, I lost a **** ton of weight!!! Wooo!!

Thank you :) Had the TT in Birmingham, Alabama (my hometown.) Performed by my mom's cousin rather than doing it up in MD where I currently live.

wow you look amazing! i remember meeting you right after getting your band or right before. I can't remember LOL. so glad you were successful!

Hey NIcole! It's been way too long! Yep, we met a couple of weeks after I had my band I think.  I remember eating cream of crab soup at that restaurant.

I need to get more active on the maryland boards and say hello to everyone again. I hope the whole group of people are doing as well as I have been the past couple of years.

unfortunately the board is dead. a couple of us attempted to revive it a couple times but no go. i know there is at least one maryland group on facebook. not sure if you feel comfortable joining that. but i don't really get too involved. unfortunately fat and formally fat chicks can be a little crazy! I keep my distance unless the person just really needs support and not drama.

Hmm, yeah, good point. Everyone on my FB knows about me and my band but I may not want to open up my legal name to everyone quite so freely and have to be exposed to their drama. Oh well... I may try to attend a St. Agnes support group once I'm back in MD.

That sounds like a good idea. i am thinking i should do that myself. i do need the support and enjoy meeting people who have gone through the same thing. who did you end up using for your surgery? i forgot what you said. someone in md?

You look fabulous!  Congrats!  I am 5'7.5" and right around 180 as well.  So glad I had my tt almost 3 weeks ago.

You sure get extra points for being in jeans 1 week out....I'm not brave enough to try them and I'm almost 3 weeks out!
