Hey guys,

Just wanted to say..

I am doing so much better! Getting all the itchy tape and the garment and bra off feels so much better. They took out my drains Monday. I am feeling so much better in a sports bra and more comfortable garment.

I am getting around and took my first shower yesterday.

My chest is swollen and bruised but I already love my new boobs! The tummy tuck scar and brusing look terrible but will heal and swelling will go down.

I cant wait to see the final results but I am happy I did this.

My dad called me yesterday and told me how proud of me he was for doing this final surgery, and that even if he couldnt have afforded it up front he would have financed it so i could do it. He would have done it any way possible. He has been so generous and really surprised me when he offered to pay for everything.

I am truly blessed and am looking forward to all the changes that will come with my body as i heal  and a new life in veterinary school in the carribean.

xoxo

I am so happy for you and I hope the progress of your surgery continues in such a rapid pace. In PA they only let you do one surgery at a time. Were you able to do all of your surgeries at once? Hopefully, I will be approved for surgery and with the 180 pounds I need to lose I may potentially need Plastics. If this works out well for you I may need a referral :)

Good Luck and wishing you a speedy and painfree recovery.

I used the plastic surgeon that Dr. Wernsing's office refers to in Philadelphia. I had the plastics at Penn Hosp where I had my VSG too. They were able to do all the procedures at once. If you need if after VSG she is a good option, familiar with loose, bariatric skin.

Alot of people told me that a TT was hard enough but this is my third surgery this year so I just wanted to get it all done and out of the way.

Good luck with your approval and thanks for the kind message.

Glad your feeling better the first few days are the hardest. I had to go almost 6 weeks without a shower consider yourself lucky.

Good to have your dad in your corner he really cares for you. My folks paid for 1/2 my VSG 2 1/2 years ago, I would not have been able to afford plastics now if they hadn't I feel fortunate.

Good luck with vet school sounds like it's a dream of yours good luck. I have 2 dogs from local shelter that I love to death and I volunteer down there on weekends, doubt I'll ever do surgery like you but I share your passion for animals.

Cangrats & be well,

Bubba

Denise-

Moving to the island of St. Kitts April 24th for 3 years of my program.

Its supposed to be one of the more unspoiled islands, with a dormant volcano and crater and rainforest. Cant wait to hike, kayak, snorkel, and be active there..on top of doing what i love!

Thanks!
