Hello!!  I had a panniculectomy on October 3rd, 2011.  Does anyone happen to know when it will be okay for me to go to a chiropractor?  My body is killing me and my spine is completely out of whack, so I was hoping to make an appointment, but my surgeon isn't in today.  I would appreciate any help. :)

I know where you are coming from, I love my Chiropractor so I can sympathize. I wouldn't think it would be ok to lay down on your tummy at this point I'm 10 weeks out from TT & Hernia and can't sleep on tummy yet. For someone to push down on you like that when your 5 weeks out would be a little soon in my opinion, but maybe if you go in and just sit up maybe they can give you some of the relief your looking for but not all. That or call for some mild pain killers if you can get'em.

Good luck,
Bubba

My chiro worked on me in a sitting position and laying on my side when I needed an adjustment shortly after my procedure.
