I"m baaaaack...
Well, I lived!! It was absolutely phenomenal. So much better than I ever imagined. It was a perfect fall day with beautiful blue skies and fluffy white clouds, which I flew through. Utterly amazing and exhilarating. I wasn't even scared. He did do a few tricks that took my breath away and ellicited a scream or two, but they were good screams.
Here's a pic from 2500 feet up...

LOL!! And no in-flight meal!! For the money I should have had filet and lobster!!
It was fun. I'd do it again in a minute!

Was there any turbulence from your head at that altitude or did you have to go higher where the air was thinner?
Don't worry I got more but didn't want to totally ruin the high your on right now.
Good Job A+++++
Bubs
Hey Mr. Poop Picker! No bugs--but we almost collided with a vulture or two. Now THAT would've been some good eatin'. It was a little off putting that they were circling as we ventured into our flight. Was hoping it wasn't an omen!
You'll be happy to know that there was little turbulence and they didn't even scramble any jet planes when my noggin showed up on radar! Badumdumbdumber!
Can't wait to hear the rest of your wisecracks (Is that where the saying smart ass comes from?)!! I know there is a helmet joke in there somewhere! The helmet thing actually made me giggle a little. If you go plummeting to earth from 2500ft up, is a helmet really going to help? Granted, me and my giant head would probably just bounce and add to the fun, but for mos folkst, I'm picturing the after effects of pumpkin chunkin'!
On a serious note (obviously a rarity between us!), it was the most exhilarating, freeing experience ever. You MUST do it. I am terrified of heights, but there was something incredibly cathartic and relaxing about it. I'd say I can't wait to do it again, but at $200 bucks for a 10 minute flight, it is a little rich for my blood.This experience is rivaled only by when I got to swim with dolphins. I'm ready for the next item on my bucket list! Just gotta figure out which one I can afford. I'm thinking Ireland...
Have a good one Bubs!!
