Tummy Tuck to Bikini???

I had LBL in May, BL/Arms in August.  Going to Cancun 12/2 & have bought my one and only first bikini to wear!  I could have worn it about a month after the LBL, just didn't.  Mine is more like a 2 piece tho so it does hide the LBL scar.  Be careful getting too much sun on those scars tho!  I had help for 5 days, but I had a hernia repair, LBL & full thigh lift, not just a tummy tuck.  It was just mainly very hard for me to get up by myself, other than that I was really fine.  Have fun!

Can't help with the bikini.
I'm 48 and never going to wear a bikini.

As for recovery, my partner stayed home from work for the first day.
But I did not need care.
I was up and down by myself.
She was just afraid I might keel over and be by myself.
Plus she wanted to be there when I showered that first day post-op in case I needed something.

i'M 2.5 weeks post op and my swelling has been pretty minimal.  I just bought new lingerie!!  I won't where a bikini - at least not a traditional one due to my thighs -  but  i could probably weara bra top now.  I think im too self concious -  more of a tankini gal

I had my surgeries in December and March, and didn't do a bikini until August. But as far as swelling, that was ok by June. For me, the issue was that my surgeons wanted me to really reduce sun on the scars for at least 6 months, and by wearing a skirted tankini for most of the summer, I was able to do that.

When I did get into the bikini, a couple people's eyes kind of popped, but we're boaters and pretty much everyone knew what I had done so it was no biggie.

I am three months out from my TT now.. I wore a bikini before I had the TT and didn't care, so I would wear one now too- and have. Although my scars are not completely faded yet they are almost entirely hidden under the bikini bottoms. As for swelling, it was pretty icky for awhile and it still hangs around a bit, but no one can tell but me at this point.

I had help for a week straight, but really only needed it for two days..

I am still loving life with my sleeve! Been maintaining at or below goal for over 4 years!
