Open Wound

I'm so worried!  After 2 months since my arms & BL/implant, I have one spot that's opened back up under my right breast!  I've been back to Houston 2xs & he's had to restitch this same area each time.  I thought I was on the road to recovery, he's having me leave the stitches in for 3 weeks this time.  Now, a few days ago....BOOM....opened back up.  I know, I know.........I'll contact him today & send him a picture to see what he says but I'm just so worried!  It's about the size of a dime and it's right at the T.  I'm putting silvedine cream 2xs/day & using a nonstick wound pad over it.  It's still moist & not acting at all like it wants to dry up.  I'm also still wearing the wonderful surgibra to make extra sure everything stays as "still" as they can.  I'm also right handed, so trying not to use that arm at all to keep the right breast still!

My other main concern is we've booked a trip, nonrefundable to Riviera Maya, Mexico leaving 12/2,, a little under 4 weeks away!  What am I going to do if I STILL have an open sore!  Great second honeymoon w/a hole in my boob!      Much less playing around in the pools & stuff!

PLEASE!!!!!!  Any advice would be appreciated!!!!!!!!!

 Hi Cyndi
Sorry you're still having problems.  I had my thigh lift on 10/7 and have an opening in the crease incision that is driving me crazy, too.

What a coincidence - I also have a vacation planned and am leaving on 12/2 also!  I saw my PS last week and he assured me that my wound would be healed in 4 weeks.  He better be right because I'm worried about the same thing.

Did he re-stitch it?  What did he tell you to do for it?

I did have a place on my upper right thigh that did the same thing.  He didn't restitch it tho, just let it heal on it's own.  He never restitched it and It healed very nicely, scarred a little, but it's up so high no one will ever know!

No, he didnt restitch it.  He said it needed to heal from the inside out, which it is doing, but slowly.  He just told me to keep it clean and covered.

Where is your opening?  Is it in the incision for the lift?  I think Chris (Crazeru) might have had that happen, if I'm not mistaken.

Ye, I think she did also, I'm hoping she'll respond.  As much as I can remember, Dr. Sauceda didn't have her put anything on it either, just kept it covered.  It's at the bottom of the right breast, @ the T where the 3 areas of skin come together.  I've even talked to my friend who works for a group of plastic surgeons and she said it happens all the time, especially @ the "T" zones (thighs also), and they do exactly what my doctor is doing.  She said they will try restitching it in the breast area because of the implant.  My thigh they just left alone.  Each time, even now, there's been no infection, which is great.  Where you travelling to?
