I just wanted to thank everybody for the kind words of support and positive feedback I received after
posting my pics. It was kind of hard for me to throw myself out there (my back hurts now) but felt it necessary to help myself move forward and feel good about me for once in my life.

I was overwhelmed by the responses I got from everyone and feel lucky to have this board as a resource. It has helped me to appreciate how far I have come on this journey and helps me thrive to want that 300 lb weight loss more than ever now.

Thanks again and hope I didn't burn anybodys retinas out,

Bubba

You are so welcome. That is what this board is all about--love and support. Always building one another up. It is a GIANT source of information when you don't know where to HEAD. Sometimes  we get lost on our journey and we need someone to tell us where to go.  I could tell you where to go, but I think you already know just where that would be. :)

Good luck reaching your 300lb weight loss goal. That will be a GIANT accomplishment. And you are surely HEADing down the right path.

With much appreciation for your ongoing support,

Denise

Sometimes it's nice to get a little reality check here.

I think some of us can get body dysmorpia, the way anexorics never see they are so skinny, we who have been morbidly obese just don't see when we are finally "normal". I've had plastics and now only see scars on me, and possibly more wrong than just saggy skin. It seems like the rest of the world surely look like super models under their clothes - they don't.

You just have to remember that when someone says you look great, they are really just saying you look great! Good luck on the 300 lb mark, but you've done awesome work even if you don't hit that magic number.
