Does this make me a vampire?
Quick update. Just got released home!!! I'm feeling a BILLION times better, like a whole different person. I really had no idea how awful I was feeling, I guess I thought it was part of the recovery process. Well I feel fantastic now in comparison. They also switched my pain medicine to dilaudid, which I love. A little tightness in my abs is my only discomfort. I'm not weak anymore, I don't need help standing up, I can walk to the bathroom, feed myself, change my clothes, etc.
Haha, and my darling Howard is married, turns out. Saw the ring when he was emptying my drain. Oooooh well! Still nice to have some eye candy.
I asked my mom for my phone to check my messages. She said no. I said "what? Why can't I have my phone?"
Mom: "You've been on pain medications. You do bad things when you have access to electronics."
Me: "You let me have my phone in the hospital, and I was on pain meds then. I was fine!"
Mom: "You texted a picture of your vagina to your sister."
Me: "my face wasn't even in the shot!"
(that picture was for diagnostic purposes, I wanted to make sure it was normal bruising. It is.)
haha, but mom has gone grocery shopping, and dad is much weaker willled when it comes to depriving me of things. So I've got my computer back for a precious little bit. Thanks for all the well wishes. I'm a little tired still so I'm going to nap but I do have a lot more to say about the last few days, which I'll post when I get computer privileges restored on a more regular basis. And as mentioned, I have managed to take a few pictures, which I will post. My hips are hugely swollen and my stomach is lumpy looking but I don't have any hanging skin anymore, which is exactly what I wanted!
