How many LBLs has your Plastic Surgeon done?

So I went and had my second consultation today with another Plastic Surgeon.  When I asked him how many LBLs he does he mentioned 2 or 3 a month.  When I asked him how many LBLs he's done over time, he told me he didn't know.  That caused me to wonder if post bariatric plastics was truly a focus of his...and it scared me.  I want to find someone who has done more batriatric plastic surgery than most and I'm willing to pay for the expertise.

Question is...do you know how many LBLs your surgeon performed before yours?  What is a number you feel comfortable with in order to have confidence in their ability to do a good job?

Hi. I met with one who said 20. My surgeon had done 100. Obviously I felt much more comfortable with my surgeon's experience. I don't recall how many he said per month, but I don't think it was even as many as 3.  But even only 1 or 2 a month over several years would get you to that 50-100 number. I would definitely press him on his bariatric experience. My surgeon was easily able to show me lots of before and after photos of his bariatric patients and specifically found folks with my similar body style.
