i went to kohl's and bought "flexees".  the one i got was the kind that fastens between your leggs and has straps but the front comes below your bra so you wear your on bra with it.  i felt that i needed compression over the entire abdomen and the ones without a crotch just didn't give me that.  i thought it would be a bother having to fasten/unfasten it every time i went to the potty but it wasn't an issue at all.  it worked very well for me!

wishing you all the best!!  enjoy that flat tummy!!

I bought a flexee's at Stein Mart. It was comfortable but I haven't had plastics yet.  January 6th TT and brachioplexy.  And it isn't hard to unhook the crotch for the bathroom.
I am not big boned!  Bones don't jiggle!

just a bit of a warning!!  be careful how you take the compression garment off!  the first time i wore mine when i took it off to shower in pulling down on it i pulled a stomach muscle...not good on the muscles that had just been tightened!  scared me because i was afraid i had pulled somthing loose.  just make sure to take it off slowly.  i was used to the binder with velcro and it was off with just a simple tug and without thinking i just pulled and "ouch"!

be very careful....it's really easy to overwork those muscles!  i was released by my PS last friday.  i had TT 9/6/11.  he has cleared me to walk/run/exercise.  he just said to not do any sit ups/crunches or intense ab work til i am 12 weeks post op.

best wishes and warm thoughts coming your way!!
Blessings,  J

i liked my binder as well!  i would wear it really low (down to the bend of my legs) and it helped with the swelling so much!  i agree on the not rushing things!  still can't believe it when i look in the mirror!  my tummy has never been this flat....EVER!  and my PS does really cute belly buttons!  my scar is on the inside of my belly button and i'm so happy about that!  i went thru a time (before my TT) that i really fet guilty for spending that much money on my tummy.  but now i'm so glad i did!  i'd definately do it again!!

of course....my cute, flat tummy sure makes my thighs and boobies look bad!  but that's another year and another stack of cash!

i'm not sure what the brand is but i got it from my plastic surgeon.  he didn't have me use a binder until my last drain came out.  and i would wrap it really tight.  too tight sometimes.
