Wow I think you look fabulous!!!!!  You used to weigh 540 lbs!!!!  Just absorbing that with the photos you posted today, it's incredible.  You must be completely proud of yourself!  Congratulations - I am certainly proud of you :)

Continued luck on your journey; I just KNOW you'll get to that 235 you want

I started at 468, and am currently at 260.  I'm trying to get in the 220's, and then plan on having similar stuff done.  I'll also need inner thighs done, and I plan to do some facial work first to correct all the sagging, since it will be cheaper and easier to pay for than the body stuff.

How horrible was the pain post-op?

Congrats on the weight loss Rob that is tremendous. I still think someone who lost 100 lbs is alot, I'm like WOW let alone 200 like you. I feel for you on the facial work, I think I was young enough to avoid it I feel lucky. I do believe we should try to be a lower weight when we have this stuff done, If I would have done it a year ago my results maybe would have been a little better right now but moving forward trying not to look back.

Don't know about facial but body work, your buying yourself a ticket on the Pain Train. I can tell you my experience and those on this board, some surgeons like to use different pain meds some people pay extra for a pain pump. I had 10mg hydrocodone 1-2 every 4 hours worked good for me, my pain never really got above a 5 or so. Some people have different reactions with different meds it don't work or it makes them sick. If you've had something in the past you know works for you tell your surgeon you'd like to have that. Stay up on the meds to you do not want to wake up in pain like I did 1 time.

Good luck,
Bubba

I've decided--let's bag the DRAINERS gig. That's old news. We need a new support group. We can call it TH squared--short for TOO HOT TO HANDLE. This is a group for people who have released their inner hotties and don't know how to handle all the attention. We'll need a facility with extra wide doorways to accomodate our swollen heads! I will defer leadership to you based on the photos I've just seen. You look great Bubba--really. I'm in even more awe of you than I was before!! Congrats on an awesome transformation!! And yeah, give it time before you worry about asymmetry, although I was completely unoffended by what I saw.

Wow Bubba, you have come a long way. You look great. So you are 8 weeks out? How is the level of pain and tightness? I'm almost 12 weeks out and still have a lot of tightness in my midsection and still get swelling. I still wear the compression vest but not as much. Congrats on your continued success.

I took the pics last week so I'm just over 9 weeks now really. I quit wearing the binders at 6 weeks but wear a compression shirt all the time, 10 bucks at Walmart 19% spandex best deal for the money hands down. I don't really have any pain at this point just a little sorness here and there, haven't taken anything for pain in over 2 weeks.

Thanks,
Bubba
