I'm glad you updated again, and things are improving. I'm sorry to sound so mother hennish, but you might add vitamin C to your vites right now. I was worried about how I'd scar when I had plastics, and that's a common worry, and know you need vitamin C to make collagen and new skin, so washing one down with a protein drink will help things heal.
It's great that your mom can help you with some of this, and I hope your getting lots of rest.

How scary for you. Your nurse was definitely worth it. I think that was one of my reasons for going to Dr Sauceda. Having 24/7 care at the clini****il I could make it on my own at the hotel. I really didn't want to come home with a pain pump and living by myself, having my daughter have to stay with me, just in case.
I second the protein bullets. Some actually have 42g and it's like 3 swallows and I do put mine in the fridge - cold is better than room temp. Also, if you can drink a couple of protein shakes a day. I was trying to get 200g of protein daily both a month before an after my surgery for 3-4months.
Take it easy sweetie, PS takes a lot out of our bodies.

Glad you're doing better, I've been worried about you since your first post and skimmed down quickly to make sure there was a followup. I've suffered from those attacks my whole life and only found out definitively what they were when I was about 27. It was a relief to know since before that I just thought it was just some mental think, like freaking out at the sight of blood. When my son was born 6 years ago it was the worst. I lost a lot of blood during the c-section and then had to stay about a week in the hospital. Every nurse who came on duty checked and rechecked my blood pressure because no one would believe I could be alert with a 60/not measurable. Then the day afer I got home I too passed out on the toilet and woke in a pool of blood because I popped a stitch on the way down. Luckily my mom was over and she's a nurse and my neighbor was an ER doc so she raced over and steristripped me back up.
My surgery is on the 17th and I'm a little scared. It's a good reminder to me to let the surgeon know about my blood pressure issues at my pre-op tomorrow.
Take care, glad you're ok.
