Cost for Brachioplasty?

Probably should have had arms done when I had TT, Gynecomastia & hernia repair. But I'm already thinking of round 2 a little bit. Just wandered if anybody just had a brachioplasty done and what was cost and the amount of downtime you experienced before you could say bend over and lift ten pounds. Go back to work etc. I feel lucky I don't think I have it as bad as some women but bug the hell out of me now that I had other problem areas worked on. Has anyone had arms and thighs done sametime as well and what was cost?

Thanks Bubba

Bubba,

Having arms done next weds.  Cost is 4100.00 inclusive.  Thigh lift was quoted at 4400.00 inclusive.  Being done in Cleveland.  Can't help as to REAL down time, but thought I would throw the price quotes your way.  Good luck!

Although I either need to find a pot of gold or a fortune cookie with accurate lottery numbers (and get a good case of amnesia to forget the pain of this surgery), those prices make me a little hopeful. Like he mentioned, something about having the other work done make the other areas much more glaring. Particularly interested in the thighs because I could actually carry off some cute, form fitting dresses, but everything is so short and I am not confident enough to work past these shar-pei thighs of mine. I never thought I'd be willing to deal with the thigh scar, but now that my waist is smaller, I have to get a full size larger pants to fit the thighs, so the waist is huge. Will it ever end???

Yep, same here on the thighs!!  That will be next for me - Oct 2012, if I can save/find the money.

The average cost seems to be 3-6K for arms. Mine were $3900. Best money ever spent. I felt good enough to return to work in 10 days.

I had my arm lift almost two years ago - Cost was $5,400 in Honolulu.  I went back to work a week and a half later.  I don't think I would have tried to pick up 10 lbs for at least a month.  Had my thighs and breasts done at the same time - each procedure was about $6,500.  I was off work for three weeks with that surgery.  Good luck.

The thighs I think I can live with for a while as chaffing has never really been a big issue for me since I lost the weight. The prices on the arms seem reasonable enough maybe something I can do next year if I'm lucky. Possibly can get a discount If I go with same plastic surgeon that did my first surgery. Sounds like two weeks vacation would be enough for me to get back to work, which would be cool.

Appreciate everyones feedback,
Thanks Bubba

I have mine done next week providing my iron levels are up.  My dr. said about 6 weeks before lifting in the gym again.
