Roll call: Who had (or is having) what when?
I'm tentatively scheduled for Oct 28 for my fleur de lis tummy tuck. That's in exactly 1 week! I've gotta get the results for my blood tests back to confirm the nature of my bleeding problems, but as long as we're able to put together a treatment plan I think this time it's a go. It was already postponed once because of the excessive bleeding I had after my breast surgeries. The PS is gonna do a little lipo on my flanks and vajayjay also. I'm super excited to be getting my tummy taken care of, it's been my #1 source of misery. I know I'll feel way way better about my body once it's gone, and maybe I'll be able to finally look in the mirror and see a healthy young woman, not a fat flabby mess.

On Tuesday Oct 18th I went back in for a full face lift, upper & lower eyes, brow work and neck lift. I've experienced the tight feeling, but still not much pain...pretty swollen though. I'm trying to be more diligent with taking the pain meds as I know it helps your body heal. This is the first surgery I've ever been thru where I don't just feel like vegging in a chair. Getting plenty of rest though. Trying to get 3-4 protein shakes in everyday plus eating, not much room right now though.
Dr. Sauceda is all they say he is plus more. I wouldn't hesitate to come here again.
Counting down to PS with Dr S on 10-15-11
Also, what size gummy bears did you get? I want to be a full C as well. I'm currently a dwindling 34DD so I don't know what he can do with that. I just know I want perky for the first time in my life!
I'm glad you're doing so well.

I am in my 3rd week from my LBL, 9/29/11.
I am feeling good. There is still alot of numbness all the way around. The red rash has gone away from my torso. I still sleep with my knees propped up. I refuse to give up my toilet seat riser. Without it, it is a long way down. lol!
I am planning on a Thigh lift, hopefully next fall. I also want a Breast lift, with small augumentation and arm lift. I am a 36 C, spaghetti with meatballs on the end. I don't want to go bigger, just have them in the "right" spot. lol!

I had a TT, Pani, Breast Lift, Implants, and hernia repair on 9/12/11. Recovery went pretty smooth other than I had a very bad reaction to the Mastisol. I broke out something terrible - had a blistery rash. That was honestly the worse of my recovery. While in the hospital, I decided to have an allergic reaction to Morphine & Dilandid. Geesh! The implants/breast lift seemed to have be down a bit more than the actual TT. They were sore, swelled, and felt like they "weighed a TON". Now they are finally 'settling' in.
I went back to work at 2 weeks. Felt pretty good - just tired at first. This week I just started wearing some of my jeans. Haven't went down any yet in my pants - but I am still swollen some. My PS also noticed I have a pocket of fluid that I am now massaging. I go back to see her in 2 weeks and if it has not went down, then she will have to drain it (ouchy). Hopefully it will obey and go away .
Other than that, I am doing great. The best part - I was able to start picking up my son this week. He just turned 2 and that honestly has been the worst part of my recovery - not picking him up. He is a momma's boy and I've missed him.
Hope you and everyone that has recent surgeries is recovering well.
Like you Denise, I am maintaining at a realistic weight for me. I started my wls journey at 324 pounds and am now at 185, and wearing a size 12 or 10 jeans. Never in a million years did I think I would see that! It seems that no matter what I do, my body is happy here. No matter how many times I hit the gym, or what I do or don't eat, that scale just doesn't budge. My body is happy here. My health is good here. I'm 47, 5'6", and not planning on a second career as a runway model. Health and feeling good about myself is my goal. My PCP is really supportive about the plastics. She says getting rid of all those fat cells is a smart thing to do!
So, 2 weeks from now I will have bearable arms and perky boobs! By this summer, a whole new me.
BTW, this is the first time I have publicly acknowledged my weight. Feels kind of liberating as I know all of you understand.
