Hello all turned in my info to my insurance company 3 weeks ago and they OK my tummy tuck which will be this Monday.

talked to my surgeon and he is going to do the T method on me because I have so much extra skin. Was told it looks like an up side down T has anyone had this and how did it turn out

My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

The technical term for it is a Fleur-De-Lis. That's what I had done and I really like my results. I have pictures on my profile if you care to look. Best of luck to you on Monday!

Hi Valerie,
I also was wondering the same question since my surgeon originally did a traditional TT and i was left with extra skin at the top midsection and love handles so now I need a revision. I heard that not all surgeon like to perform it, its only for patients who have lost a lot weight and have loose skin. Good Luck please share pics as soon as your feeling better from your procedure...PS I heard its the best way to get that sexy coke bottle shape :)

I had it.

I absolutely love it.

I had alot of redundant skin/fat above my belly button. My surgeon suggested it was my best option if I wanted a waist. I did not want that boxy look so commonly seen after a regular TT.
I've never had a waist. I was obese by age 7.
I wanted a girly shape for once!

Fast foward to this morning. I was walking down the hall in front of a coworker who says "wow, you're getting an hour glass!".

Best. Compliment. Ever.

I was happy you asked about the fleur de lis cut.. I finally looked at some photos of the incision. I think it depends on you and your dr.. I personally find the incision all the way down the belly a little scary looking.. I am hoping that you heal well. I heard mederma is the thing to use
